What results are achieved?
Back to Dynamic vs. Static Exercise and Stretching
Both systems will improve flexibility and strength. Consult a professional trainer for guidance suitable for your needs.
Let's examine the logic of using Static or Dynamic Exercise (Dynamic Tension) for beginners:
- Weight training is very beneficial. However at the outset, it is imperative that light weights be used until good form and correct breathing become understood and performed correctly;
- Using the light resistance (for safety reasons) means that the muscles are not going to be exerted enough to show anything but the slightest gains;
- By using Dynamic Tension, much more effort and exertion can be expended in complete safety, which will achieve quicker results;
- In addition, the user is learning to appreciate and understand so much more about his body because the concentration is focused on the movement and muscles, rather than on the dumbbell or other object that is providing the resistance.
