DUE TO OUR MODERN LIFESTYLES AND LACK OF AWARENESS, POSTURE RELATED PROBLEMS ARE INCREASING -
- We are a society that watches more television than any previous generation;
- We are a more electronic society, with more and more classroom hours, sitting in front of computer terminals and less activity hours;
- More and more cars are crowding our roads, resulting in accidents and injuries;
- We drive in cars with poorly designed seats;
- We are involved in “X-Games” which cause many more injuries;
- We are not informed and given the instruction on how our posture should be monitored, corrected and kept in its strongest and best position;
- Excess fat will place posture under tremendous strain and eventually the “bad” takes over from the norm required;
- Bad lifting and bending techniques will create problems.
